A few days ago this guy, Capybara15984, sends me a message asking about running the trick mod under tf2. Of course I laughed but it actually worked. It just worked without any changes. Surprisingly though it was more difficult to find the surf_skyworld map. Porting the map was easy enough. info_player_terrorist and info_player_counterterrorist became info_player_teamspawn. After setting air accelerate I was able to surf with a flamethrower!! Sadly though the water stops me the same as in csgo.
